walk downtown

it's a beautiful day so why do i feel like i'm losing,
i could be content and satisfied
oh i could be just mesmerized,
mesmerized by you today
i meant to tell you how quiet it is,
how awfully quiet life is without our voices,
When you tell me what to do and i yell right back at you,
When you're walking backwards just so i can face you.
The walk downtown brings me to two ways,
and i get lost from there...
